What is RTA cabinetry, really?
RTA stands for Ready-to-Assemble
RTA cabinets are solid, fully finished cabinet boxes built at the factory, then shipped flat-packed to save on freight cost and damage risk. On site, they go together quickly with cam locks, dowels, and screws — the same hardwood, plywood, and finish quality as a pre-assembled box, just packed smarter. Assembly doesn't change the materials; it only changes how the cabinet travels to your kitchen.
